The Process | Legacy Ghostwriters

Dear Author,

You want to write a book.

Not just any book. Your book.

The one people will want to read.

It’s not easy to become an author. Maybe that’s why you’ve thought about writing your memoir, or tried to write your memoir, for years and years (and more years?). Now imagine your book, finished and well-written, in your hands in six to eight months.

Here’s how we get there.

You talk and I write. It’s that simple. Whether you have boxes of material or just a skeleton of a story, I know what to do. Your job is to tell your story and help with the drafts. Does it say what you want to say? Does it sound like you? What have we missed? We work together until your manuscript is just right.

Yet experience tells me that people are uneasy about ghostwriters in general. What they do is so mysterious—and they’re ghosts!

To put your mind at ease, click here for a complete outline of the process I’ve developed after working with authors since 2007. As I do the heavy lifting, you can freely enjoy reliving your life and digging into long-forgotten details and events. The result will be your book, finally done, well-written, professional, and interesting, just as you imagined it.

Finished garbage can be edited. Unfinished greatness languishes forever.
The only bad writing is the thing you didn’t write!

I understand it takes a leap of faith to put your life—literally speaking—in someone else’s hands. Many of my authors say, in retrospect, the most difficult step was to contact me. I promise I’ll make it easy if you do. No pressure, just an easy conversation about how I can help you get that book out your head and onto the page.
